Adjunct Spring 2026 – Medical Assistant Instructor

DutiesSupport the goals and mission of the college; provide quality instruction to students; and communicate with your department chair or administrator. Teaching duties will consist of courses from the Medical Assistant curriculum, including:
- MOA 115
- MOA 141
- MOA 142
- MOA 144
- MOA 147
Associate’s degree in health science or a related field. CMA, RMA, or certification, registration, or licensure as a healthcare professional or clinical experience. Certain courses may require additional requirements.
Qualifications- Appropriate certification or licensure or Associate’s degree in a health science discipline or a related field.
- Registered Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant or Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP) with recent ambulatory clinical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of course content, as evidenced by education and/or experience.
- Education or experience in effective direction and evaluation of student learning and laboratory performance.
- Preparation in educational theory and techniques.
- Credentialed or eligible for national credentialing as a medical assistant is desirable.
Part Time
HoursHours to be determined. Primarily evenings and main campus.
Salary / Wage$1,162 per ECH (Hourly)
