DutiesUnder direction of the User Support Services Coordinator, the User Support Services Specialist is responsible for first level end-user support for computing related equipment in a networked environment. Responsibilities include the installation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of computer equipment/applications. The User Support Services Specialist is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education/ExperienceMinimum of a High school diploma or high school equivalency/ GED
1-3 years’ experience working in an end-user computing environment, and experience with PC, Apple and/or mobility devices is required. Associate’s degree preferred.

QualificationsIn addition to a minimum of one year experience in an end user computing/user support/helpdesk environment and requirements noted above, other qualifications include:
Knowledge of operating system concepts and operation. Familiarly with programs, languages, and supported software packages. Good communication/interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of personal computing hardware components. Demonstrated analytical ability to logically approach problem solving.

- Noon
On occasion, other hours may be needed for operational needs. Summer schedule may differ.
Must be able to work all campus sites (main campus/Palos Hills and extension sites in Blue Island/ ECBI and /or Tinley Park/ SWEC )
