Job Title: Applications Support Specialist (IT)

Duties: Under general direction, the Applications Support Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and support of 3rd-party applications which integrate into and/or enhance the functionality of the college’s ERP, Ellucian Colleague. Serving as a member of the Application & Web Services team, the Applications Support Specialist also assists with technical support over the phone and in person. The Applications Support Specialist is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.
Responsibilities include the following.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree. Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience working in an end-user computing environment, and experience with PC and/or Apple Mac microcomputers required.

- Knowledge of computer operating system concepts and operation
- Knowledge of commonly used software, such as the Microsoft Office suite; hardware, and other equipment
- Knowledge of ERP, Ellucian Colleague and other systems helpful
- Knowledge of CRMs and ticketing systems is helpful
- Above average communication skills, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work responsibly with or without direct supervision
- Demonstrated analytical ability to logically approach problems

Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

* This is a primarily on-site position. Alternative hybrid work schedule/remote opportunities may be available as applicable after probationary period. On call 24 hours a day – 7 days a week for emergencies. Employees must be a resident of IL/IN or reciprocal state. Sponsorship is not available.
Salary/Wage: $54,160-$72,198 (plus exceptional benefits)
