Role Description

We are seeking an ambitious Associate Attorney to join our high‑performance team. This is a full‑time, on‑site role where you will be an architect of strategy for complex dissolutions and contested custody matters. You will move beyond standard domestic relations tasks, engaging in sophisticated forensic discovery, high‑frequency trial preparation, and strategic negotiation for multi‑million dollar estates.

Key Daily Tasks
  • Elite Advocacy: Draft pleadings and motions with a focus on meticulous detail and tactical precision.
  • Complex Discovery: Lead the analysis of complex business valuations, asset tracing, and financial portfolios.
  • Courtroom Engagement: Represent clients in high‑stakes hearings and trials (the firm maintains a high‑frequency trial schedule).
  • HNW Client Management: Act as a trusted advisor, providing the "concierge" level of communication our clients expect.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and an active Illinois Law License
    .
  • Expertise: Strong foundation in Family Law (previous experience in high‑asset cases or civil litigation is highly preferred).
  • Negotiation & Trial

    Skills:

    Advanced negotiation skills with a "controlled aggression" approach and a desire to be in the courtroom.
  • Analytical Prowess: Ability to conduct in-depth research and synthesize complex financial data.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to navigate sensitive family dynamics with poise and discretion.
  • Team Synergy: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, high‑stakes environment.
