• Good oral and written communication skills
• Cleaning and maintenance of laboratory spaces
• Preparation of lab materials and equipment
• Distribution and upkeep of laboratory equipment
• Organizational skills for lab inventory and scheduling
• Maintaining strict confidentiality of lab procedures
• Judgement in handling lab resources

• Effective verbal and written communication, including listening skills
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
• Teamwork skills and contribution to departmental activities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technology
• Dependability, strong work habits, time and priority management
• Openness, inclusiveness, sensitivity toward cultural diversity
• Familiarity with chemistry, chemical equipment, and safety protocols

• Fall and Spring semesters: up to 20 hours per week
• Summer, holiday break, and spring break: up to 25 hours per week
• Fall/Spring: enrollment in 6 or more credit hours;
  Summer: enrollment in 3 or more credit hours
• Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
• Flexible Monday‑Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm to accommodate class schedules

Additional duties may include working in the chemistry laboratory and stockroom.
