Lead Maintenance Technician

The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for working with, overseeing and coordinating the maintenance activities of a team of technicians. They will work closely with the Service Department Manager to ensure that all maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

The Lead Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for training and mentoring new technicians.

• Oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities of a team of technicians
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment and facility problems
• Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment and residential properties
• Train and mentor new technicians
• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Comply with all safety regulations
• Build and maintain client relationships
• Build and maintain maintenance plans for assigned groups of properties
• Submit property reports
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field
• Must have a strong understanding of all types of home maintenance issues
• Must be able to read and understand job reports, descriptions, tasks, and assignments
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in a variety of weather conditions
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
