This position is responsible for coordinating and providing for the maintenance of all buildings and building equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:- Maintenance of all association property and equipment, upkeep of the pools/spa, and common areas.
- Check and maintain pool chemical levels.
- Perform scheduled inspections on building equipment and buildings, maintain storerooms and pump rooms.
- Perform Monthly HVAC preventive maintenance, and assist with custodial duties as needed.
- Work tasks are performed primarily outdoors. Temperature varies due to weather conditions.
- Position requires walking and giving directions; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours. The length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
- Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the resort on a timely basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning and stocking tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. On a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
- Talking and hearing occur continuously in communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.
High school or equivalent education preferred.
ExperienceMinimum two years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a resort environment. Certified Pool Operator within one year of employment.
Licenses or CertificatesMust possess a valid Drivers License. Must obtain a CPO (Certified Pool Operators License) within one year of employment.
