Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and service-focused Environmental Services Technician to join our team at Hillcrest Country Estates Cottages in Papillion, NE.
Hillcrest Country Estates Cottages provides skilled nursing, long-term care, and post-acute support in a warm, home-like environment. Our Environmental Services team plays an important role in making sure resident suites and shared spaces are clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming every day.

As an Environmental Services Technician, you will help create an environment where residents feel comfortable and cared for by maintaining clean, orderly, safe, and odor-free living spaces that meet their needs and expectations.
What You’ll Do You Will- Clean resident suites according to established schedules and as additional needs arise.
- Maintain common areas so they remain clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Complete scheduled deep cleaning throughout the cottages, including resident suites.
- Perform regular spot checks of suites and common areas to help maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Collect soiled linens and clothing according to established schedules to help minimize odors.
- Empty assigned trash receptacles and transport waste to the appropriate disposal area.
- Follow OSHA requirements related to cleanliness, infection control, chemical use, personal protective equipment, and emergency preparedness.
- Use cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment safely and according to established procedures.
- Identify maintenance concerns and communicate them to the appropriate team member.
I - Submit maintenance requests when repairs or attention are needed.
- Immediately remove unsafe equipment from service and report concerns appropriately.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies and communicate inventory needs for ordering.
- Help manage cleaning-supply usage responsibly and within established budget expectations.
- Clean washers, dryers, and dryer vents according to established procedures and schedules.
- Respond to resident needs and requests in a timely, positive, and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community.
- Assist with additional environmental-services responsibilities as assigned.
The position includes responsibility for cleanliness, infection control, safety, linen collection, deep cleaning, supply management, and identifying maintenance concerns throughout the cottages.

Ideal Candidates Will Have- Previous housekeeping, environmental services, custodial, healthcare, hospitality, or similar experience preferred.
