Summary:

Tombstone Rips is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sports Shipping and Sorting Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves co-hosting live streaming events where you will sort and pack sports cards, manage your own inventory and shipping areas, and carefully package and label shipments for delivery to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of sports and the sports card market, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to care for cards and collectibles like prized possessions.

You will be responsible for managing inventory, processing shipments, and generating reports. Join us and be a part of the thrilling world of sports card collecting.

Core

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sort large sports cards/TCG card breaks according to team, player, or pack.

Neatly bag, wrap, and prepare high-end cards for shipping.

Support card breakers by identifying needs, keeping cards organized, and restocking supplies.

Maintain focus, sort cards categorically, and maintain an accurate shipping log.

Possess basic knowledge of teams across major sports like MLB, NBA, and NFL, entertainment and understand cards/parallels.

Push inventory carts, identify products, and assist team members.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle and package sports cards carefully.

Ability to manipulate small items with precision.

Extended periods of standing.

Ability to read and interpret small print on cards and packaging.

Ability to move around the workspace to access different products, tools, and shipping supplies.

Capability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, such as boxes of cards and shipping materials.

Maintain good posture while sitting or standing to prevent fatigue and discomfort.

Perform repetitive movements such as sorting cards and team bagging.
