Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is looking for a HVAC & Plumbing Supervisor
.
- Plan, organize and follow up on requested work orders.
- Manage the work order system and ensure HVAC Shop work orders are completed in a timely, professional manner.
- Interview service requestors to evaluate process and determine level of satisfaction and quality of work performed.
- Customer Service: respect, flexibility, knowledge, confidence, professionalism, pleasant attitude, patience and helpfulness. All responses should be timely, professional, caring, and respectful in accordance with Customer Service Performance expectations.
- Coordinate and execute utility shutdowns campus wide. Communicate with management and hospital staff regarding shutdown details.
- Maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Assess gaps and create necessary policies and procedures.
- Maintain and organize the HVAC shop. Keep inventory of shop supplies and order materials as needed.
- Maintain logs of air pressure relationships throughout facility.
- Schedule and maintain HVAC department schedule; schedule weekend and holiday coverage.
- Adhere to the Medical Center’s Code of Conduct.
- Be familiar with the Medical Center’s Mission, Vision, and Values Statements.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- 5 Years of Master Mechanic/Supervisor Experience.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
- Ability to exercise good judgement and multitask.
- Strong communication skills and effective team management.
- Highly organized.
Salary commensurate with experience within posted range.
$75k-$90k/Year

EducationHigh School or better in Diploma/GED.
