The Opportunity
Avantor is seeking a Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) to be responsible for the day‑to‑day maintenance and repair of the building and facilities. This is a full‑time position located at our Paris, KY office.
Work schedule:
3rd shift, Monday‑Friday, 11pm‑7:30am with OT as needed. Training will be on day shift for the first 90days.
- Maintains building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.
- Performs maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.
- Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded.
- Answers security alarm calls as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree or technical school preferred. - Experience:
3 years of applicable direct experience in a similar position. - Additional qualifications:
Skills in mathematics, personal computers and related applications are vital. Interpersonal and communication skills are important. Knowledge of HVAC systems required.

The associate works near moving mechanical machinery and the noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
