Overview

Natural Retreats is hiring a Maintenance Manager to join our Park City, UT team. The Maintenance Manager will oversee and manage the maintenance department to ensure the homes in the Natural Retreats portfolio are in pristine condition, and to maintain a high level of guest and homeowner satisfaction. This role will also manage maintenance team members and supervise work to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain homes within the portfolio.

The position may serve as an interface between Natural Retreats, guests, homeowners, and third‑party vendors as needed.

Compensation

COMPENSATION: $75,000 per year

Essential Functions

Manage and oversee the maintenance department’s successful completion of core home systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair (e.g., HVAC, pool service, lock installation, septic systems, plumbing, electric, radiant heating systems, mechanics). Includes basic repairs to interior/exterior aesthetics, moving equipment, hot tub servicing, waste removal, walkways and driveways maintenance, snow/leaf removal, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, and assisting housekeeping when needed.

  • Manage and oversee annual inspections using Natural Retreats Breezeways system
  • Schedule and complete onboardings, safety and detailed home information inspections, and seasonal inspections when requested
  • Report and document damages through Breezeways system
  • Organize and manage inventory; monitor usage and coordinate purchasing of materials, supplies, and tools
  • Oversee inventory of all maintenance supplies and ordering within budget; assign appropriate charges to owners as required
  • Assist in ordering through vendors to maintain stock of consumables (e.g., light bulbs, batteries) within budget
  • Perform basic mechanical and electronic repairs (e.g., reset WiFi routers/modems, program cable/satellite TV receivers, light plumbing and painting)
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to maintenance procedures
  • Oversee monthly checklist and ongoing maintenance on all company vehicles
  • Maintain the upkeep and inventory of the property; replace items with approved suppliers/equipment as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments and vendors to schedule subcontracted work
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas
  • Maintain detailed records of service performed
  • Communicate completion and progress of assigned tasks
  • Track and upkeep of assigned tool inventory
  • Monitor, track, and report credit card and purchase account usage
  • Record billable items and hours for guests/owners; approve invoices in Concur and ensure appropriate billing
  • Meet month-end deadlines (Concur, AMEX, etc.)
  • Emergency on-call phone

Experience & Skills

Required

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • 3+ years in maintenance
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge of internet routers
  • Basic knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair
  • Proficiency with technology (cell phones and basic computer skills)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic organizational skills to record and catalogue work performed
  • Proactive and flexible approach to duties and problem-solving
  • Good judgment
  • Oral communication skills and strong customer/guest focus
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
