- Responsible for properly taking in all service work including correctly filling out service work orders, scheduling an appropriate amount of repairs and completing repairs in a timely manner.
- Perform all service work required and requested by the customer.
- Assist customers in an enthusiastic and courteous manner.
- Advise and assist customers and employees with all repair needs and questions.
- Communicate with manager, rental and warranty part needs.
- Develop and maintain knowledge expertise of all merchandise in the department to effectively assist customers with accurate information; keep current as new product lines are introduced.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
- Previous ski and bike mechanic experience and knowledge.
- Ability to be autonomous, prioritize workday, multitask and be detail‑oriented.
- Ability to learn in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions and take direction well.
- Acceptable appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to create an excellent customer and team experience.
- Good time management skills.
- A sense of urgency and ability to hustle.
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Must be reliable, hard‑working, and enjoy working with other driven people.
Flexible schedule needed; shifts range from 8:00 am–9:00 pm in the winter and 9:00–6:00 pm in the summer. During the ski season, repair shop shifts are 12:00–8:00 pm.
