This role offers a unique opportunity to lead educational initiatives while fostering a Christian-centered atmosphere in Park Forest, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging curriculum that aligns with our Christian values.
- Lead classroom activities while providing guidance and support to students.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
- Collaborate with staff to create a cohesive educational strategy.
- Communicate effectively with parents and the community regarding student progress.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student development.
- Organize and participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
- Mentor and train new teachers, fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Valid teaching license and certification in early childhood education.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people.
- Proficient in educational technology and classroom management tools.
