Fabrication Lab Classroom Facilitator

The Fabrication Lab Classroom Facilitator will lead a hands-on, project-based program designed to teach middle school students the fundamental components of a Fabrication Laboratory using 3D printers, laser cutters, and tools for computer aided design. This role includes planning and delivering engaging lessons using a structured curriculum, managing a safe and organized learning environment, and working with small groups of students to foster understanding, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Good physical health
• Appropriate Substitute License or CTE
• Ability to respond properly to oral and written directions
• Ability to communicate clearly, orally and in written form
• Ability to move quickly to areas of concern
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff
• Ability to organize materials and write reports
• Ability to organize and manage an effective classroom
• Strong understanding of digital fabrication and equipment
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
