We are looking to fill a new surgery preliminary PGY 2 position for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year.
Our community surgery residency is located in the suburbs of Chicago at Advocate Illinois' 2 largest hospitals, Christ Medical Center and Lutheran General Hospital. - Current ACGME accredited PGY 1 Surgery resident or certificate of completion of an ACGME accredited PGY 1 Surgery year within the past 3 years
- CV
- 3 Letters of Recommendation, including a PD/Chair LOR
- ACGME case reports - defined category & year 2 minimum
- ACGME milestone report
- ABSITE score(s)
- List of completed rotations
- Medical Licensing Examination scores - USMLE, COMLEX
- MSPE & medical school transcript or ERAS application
- ECFMG certificate, if applicable
