Civil Engineer

About the role:SME has a new full-time position for an entry- to mid-level Civil Engineer in our Park Ridge, Illinois, office to support our land development projects including municipal infrastructure and community resiliency, commercial development, coastal stabilization, renewable energy and utility projects, industrial, and residential developments. • Manage and design a diverse portfolio of projects
• Perform engineering design from preliminary to final design
• Spend time in the field to gain hands-on experience overseeing construction projects

Civil Engineer

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering with 2+ years of experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Demonstrate initiative to find answers and solve problems effectively
• Authorization to work in the U.S. required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Compensation & Benefits: Salary range is $90,000 - $120,000 based on experience, qualifications, and the responsibilities of the position. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 100% employer-paid employee medical coverage, a generous HSA contribution, 100% employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance. Employees are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan after one year of employment and 1,000 hours of service and are immediately 100% vested in employer Safe Harbor, matching (up to 10%), and profit-sharing contributions.
