COMPLIANCE OFFICER
SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Compliance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our bank operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing guidance to the business units. This is a hands-on position, working with all functional areas within the bank.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the bank’s compliance programs.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits.
- Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to business units on compliance matters.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations affecting the bank’s operations.

- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional certifications such as CRCM, CAMS, or similar are preferred.
- Experience or working knowledge of a variety of different compliance areas including but not limited to CRA, BSA, Retail/Deposit regulations, Reg E, Reg CC, Fair Lending, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Truth-in-Lending Act, Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, Fair Housing Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, Flood Disaster Protection Act, Fair Lending, Reg O and USA Patriot Act.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the banking industry.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds of storage boxes and/or trays of checks.

Salary InformationThis is an exempt, officer-level position. Compensation will be based upon background and level of experience. The compensation range is $58,000-$120,000.
