Food Service Ambassador

Advocate Health Care -  - Responsibilities:
Act as the key contact between food and nutrition and the patient; obtain meal orders and orient patients to Room Service and department services;
Deliver meals, collect patient trays, ensure patient satisfaction, and record calorie and fluid intake as ordered;
Process diet changes and document allergies, intolerances, preferences, and food-drug interactions; balance nutrients using prescribed diet orders;
Load and transport food carts; deliver and stock patient meals in nursing units and physician lounges;
Communicate patient needs to food & nutrition and nursing services; follow safety, sanitation, and isolation precautions
