Job Overview

Park Ridge Country Club is seeking an energetic, service driven Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a key role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day food and beverage operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests.

The Assistant Manager will lead a dedicated team, ensuring seamless operations across the restaurant, bar, and banquet functions, while balancing multiple tasks and working closely with the F&B management team. This is a fast-paced role ideal for a proactive and adaptable professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily food and beverage operations in the dining room, bar, and banquet areas.

Lead and train staff, ensuring consistent high-quality service and member satisfaction.

Assist in scheduling team members and managing labor costs according to business demands.

Maintain inventory and ordering of supplies to ensure seamless operation.

Monitor food and beverage service, ensuring all service standards are met.

Collaborate with the executive chef and other team members to plan and execute special events, banquets, and club functions.

Manage member concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Assist in developing and implementing strategies to increase food and beverage sales and profitability.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and cleanliness standards.

Perform other duties as assigned by the F&B leadership team.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, with at least 2-3 years of management experience.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide the team.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and functions in a busy, dynamic environment.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on personal service.

Ability to adapt to varying shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings) based on club needs.

Knowledge of food and beverage inventory management and financial controls.

Passion for creating memorable experiences for members and guests.

Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems; experience with club management software a plus.
