Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are seeking a skilled Attorney with expertise in family law to join our team on a contract basis. This position is located in Park Ridge, Illinois, and includes a variety of legal tasks such as drafting motions and preparing for trials. The role provides an opportunity to work with a dedicated team and contribute meaningfully to family law cases.

Responsibilities:

- Draft and prepare legal documents, including court orders, pleadings, and motions.

- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other attorneys and relevant parties.

- Manage discovery processes, including gathering and analyzing evidence.

- Prepare for upcoming trials by organizing materials and developing case strategies.

- Represent clients in court when necessary, ensuring attentive and impactful representation.

- Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.

- Provide guidance and support to legal assistants and clerical staff.

- Maintain thorough and accurate records of case files and legal proceedings.

The pay range for this position is 40 to 65. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/contract professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit  for more information.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation or family law.

- Strong skills in drafting motions, pleadings, and briefing.

- Proficiency in managing discovery processes and preparing for trials.

- Excellent communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, and court personnel.

- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.

- Familiarity with family law procedures and legal standards.

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in legal work.
