Director of Nursing

Our Skilled Nursing Facility, located near Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Director of Nursing, RN who is self‑motivated, has previous experience, is organized, and has excellent communication skills. The Director of Nursing will assist us in achieving our mission of growing a quality-oriented and employee-friendly organization.

Director of Nursing

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee nursing policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of resident care
• Direct the day‑to‑day functions of nursing assistants following all facility and regulatory guidelines
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with established facility policies and procedures
• Foster a caring and compassionate atmosphere for residents and their families
• Coordinate daily staff planning and shift management
• Ensure proper documentation of all activities, incidents, and resident conditions
• Participate in the facility’s quality assurance program to improve patient outcomes
• Assist in facility surveys and inspections conducted by government agencies
• Manage resident admissions, transfers, and discharges per facility policy
• Transcribe and record physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all reporting and documentation requirements

• Current Illinois RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience
  , preferably in a long‑term care setting
• Strong leadership skills
  , with expertise in human resources management, strategic planning, and nursing program development
