Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Adult)
Park Ridge, IL – Part time, 7p-7a.
Where You Will WorkThe 45‑bed emergency department at Lutheran General, a Level 1 Trauma Medical Center with Magnet designation, delivers nursing care to patients needing emergency services.
Qualifications- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification;
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) to be obtained within 3 months of start date. - Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in Emergency or Critical Care nursing.
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Apply evidence‑based practice and clinical decision making while communicating with compassion and skill, leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
