REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – Cardiology Clinic (Cardiac Specialties)
Park Ridge, IL
Part Time; 48 hours a pay period; 8 hour shifts
Cover current hours of 07:30-17:00 M-F
Where You Will WorkIn the Coordinated Clinic you will be responsible for treating outpatient population with a variety of cardiac specialties. The specialties are:
Heart Failure, Lipid, Chest Pain, Cardiac Oncology, Watchman/Afib, Structural Heart, Adult Congenital, and Advanced Heart Failure. This includes drawing labs, starting IVs, administering medication and monitoring for response, administering EKGs and patient education.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Illinois
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- 2 years of nursing experience on cardiac telemetry, ICU or ED required
