The Quality Manager will lead and enhance the Quality Management System within a growing manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and industry standards while driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Drive quality assurance, quality control, supplier quality, customer quality, and corrective action initiatives.
- Oversee internal, customer, and third-party audits.
- Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, inspection standards, and control plans.
- Monitor and improve key quality metrics, including First Pass Yield (FPY), defect rates, customer returns, supplier performance, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action activities using quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto Analysis.
- Partner with suppliers to improve quality performance and resolve issues.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, rework, and customer complaints.
- Serve as the primary quality contact for customers and support customer audits and quality reviews.
- Develop and mentor quality team members while fostering a proactive quality culture across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Industrial Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of quality leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and audit leadership.
- Strong understanding of quality tools, SPC, CAPA, root cause analysis, FMEA, PPAP, and control plans.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and quality reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000
