Job Description:Manages the CMMS Maintenance Management system to efficiently prioritize work orders submitted by hospital staff. Manages record keeping requirements for external inspections by Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). Orders parts for maintenance technicians to ensure timely repairs and maintenance. Develops work order tasks and establishes the preventive maintenance (PM) schedule in collaboration with the Plant Operations Manager. Maintains proficiency in operator functions with several alarm notification systems.
Operates the building automation system effectively. Attains all agreed‑upon goals and objectives within specified time frames as part of the organization’s overall mission. Attends all required safety training programs and understands responsibilities related to general safety, department/service safety, and specific job‑related hazards. Follows the Hospital Exposure Control Plans for Bloodborne and Airborne Pathogens responsibly. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees to ensure a professional and courteous hospital environment.
Promotes effective working relations and collaborates as part of a department/unit team to meet goals and objectives. Other duties as assigned.
- Ability to maintain meticulous record keeping of documents for inspections [Required]
- Basic knowledge of electrical / mechanical systems nomenclatures to competently seek out replacement parts and order them for maintenance technicians [Required]
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure customers are satisfied their maintenance requests are being attended to in a timely and efficient manner [Required]
- Ability to master the operation of multiple complex electronic alarm panels and computerized systems such as Simplex Fire Alarm, Medical Gas, Generator, Fire Pump, Boilers, Fuel Oil Pump [Required]
- Must be able to communicate in English [Required]
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
- Experience using CMSS (Computerized Maintenance Management Software) such as People Soft to manage the work order process [Preferred]
- Knowledge of Joint Commission or DNV inspection requirements very desirable [Preferred]
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

- 2+ commercial building maintenance department employment or commercial construction work Required
Certifications:
- HVAC Universal Certified Technician (HVAC) [Preferred]
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range:$21.80 - $40.55
