Description:

Labette Health is seeking dedicated and dependable Housekeepers to join our Environmental Services team. As a Housekeeper, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our patients, visitors, and staff. Full time Day and Evening positions available.
** Responsibilities:
*** Clean and disinfect patient rooms, restrooms, offices, and public areas according to hospital standards.
* Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces.
* Remove trash, linen, and infectious waste safely and appropriately.
* Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
* Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply needs to supervisors.
* Follow all infection control and safety procedures.
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to room cleaning requests in a timely manner.

* Qualifications:

*** Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred but not required – we will train the right candidate.
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
* Must be able to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and push carts up to 50 pounds.
* Attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Commitment to patient safety and infection prevention.
