Westmoreland Academy is looking for aproactive, dependable Dayporterto keep our facilities clean, organized, and ready for students, staff, and visitors. You’ll play an essential behind-the-scenes role in supporting a positive school experience every day.

• 🧼 Clean and sanitize classrooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas
• 🚻 Maintain restrooms and restock supplies
• 🗑️ Remove trash and recycling and keep spaces orderly
• 🧹 Sweep, mop, dust, and spot-clean carpets, walls, doors, and high-touch surfaces
• ☕ Keep lunchroom and coffee areas clean and welcoming
• 🚨 Respond to service requests and emergency calls
• 🎪 Support special event setups and school activities
• 👀 Proactively inspect facilities and address cleanliness needs

• 🎓 GED + 2 years of general maintenance, custodial, and/or landscape experience
• 🔎 Successful FBI and state background check
• 🩺 Negative TB test

• 🔊 Work in a moderate-to-loud environment that may occasionally be emotionally challenging.
• 💪 Ability to carry, push, pull, and move objects such as desks, chairs, and boxes.
• 🚶 Frequent and prolonged standing, walking, bending, stooping, and crouching.
• 🤝 Ability to physically prompt and escort students when necessary.
• 🛡️ Ability to safely perform student physical management and containment in accordance withPRO-ACT, CPI, and/or other approved behavioral intervention practices.
