Dockmaster or General Manager

The Lead Dockhandmaybethefirstpersonourguestsinteractwithwhenarrivingtothemarina .Itisimportantthattheydelivera superior marina experience to allour guests. Lead dock hands assist the Dockmaster and direct Dockhands in all duties related to themarina.

Doingsowhilebeingfriendly,positive,and accommodating,theyalsokeep theareaclean,safe,andwellmaintained.

• Assist with leadingateamofdock handsandsupervising related operations
• Assist customers andguests with general boatingneedsper thedirectionofthe Dockmaster includingbutnotlimitedto securing boats to docks, black water pump out, waste disposal, and general facility sanitation
• Providethehighestlevelofguestservicecreatingthebestandmostmemorableexperienceforbothcustomersand members
• Comply with all OSHA and environmental regulations, adhering to all site rules, processes, policies, and expectations, including proper wear of PPE as required for a specified task or work area

• Musthaveprior experience as adockhand
• Abilitytoworkindependently toachievegoalsand targets
• Someknowledgeofmarinaoperationsorwillingnesstobetrained inthem
• Proventrackrecordorinnateabilitytointerfacewithcustomerspositivelyand successfully

• Mustbeabletoindependently lift,carry, push,andpulluptothirty(30) pounds
• Mustbeable toswimorbewilling towearapersonal flotationdeviceininstancesof emergency
• Mustbeabletoperformsimplegrasping,fine manipulation,andrepetitivehand&armmovementsfrequently,and squeezing & overhead reaching occasionally
• Must be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property to include weekends and holidays as needed.
