IEA Maintenance Planner

The basic function of this role within the MOWP is to develop planned job packages for maintenance repair work and improvement projects based on priorities established by the gatekeeper. The job must satisfy the notification scope and include all materials, services, rsources and appropriate scheduling logic between individual operations or tasks

This function/ role/ position is responsible for the following:

• Providing necessary planning information that insures safe and efficient execution of critical priority 1 and 2 jobs
• Participating in the mangement of the notification and work order backlog
• Changing notification(s) to orders
• Building or copying job plans
• Participating in bidding process and requisitioning for third party services
• Routing high cost orders through the Production Maintenance Coordinator for verification that work order provides appropriate return on investment relative to the current business environment
• Forwarding job packages to the Maintenance Supervisor
• Soliciting feedback on executed jobs plans and making any necessary changes to insure planning and work efficiencies continue to improve
• Writing necessary change orders for third party services upon job completion

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years experience in the field of Instrumentation/ Electrical
• Must be proficient in reading P&'s, electrical one-line diagrams and wiring schematics
• Must be familiar with the requirements of the National Electric Code (NEC)
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal methods to customers, management and vendors
• Experience with accomplishing work within required timelines, including short, long and emergency time frames
• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel, and Documentum
