This role supports facility-wide maintenance activities to ensure safe, responsive, high-quality, and economical maintenance services. Provides technical support for all maintenance disciplines with emphasis on improving equipment reliability, ensuring quality services and repairs, reducing maintenance costs, and troubleshooting equipment and process problems. Plans and manages some capital projects within the maintenance department. Performs job functions using SAP and Microsoft Projects.

• SHE Stewardship:
  Maintain safety as the highest priority; abide by INEOS safety policies and procedures.
• Promote and apply the INEOS “20 Principles of Safety”; support “Coaching for Safety” and “Stop Work” concepts.
• Promote safety through communication with employees and contractors before, during, and after task execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulatory requirements; strive to meet internal SHE objectives.
• Complete own and direct subordinate training requirements per annual schedule.
• Technical support and reliability improvements: provide mechanical knowledge to support maintenance efforts, improve equipment reliability, and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Optimize predictive and preventive maintenance tasks; identify gaps, develop corrective action plans, drive implementation, and evaluate performance.
• Monitor and evaluate critical equipment failures; recommend actions to improve MTBF.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor with obtaining, managing, and analyzing equipment vibration data.
• Assist in budgeting and capital project planning within the maintenance department; include cost and schedule accountability for assigned projects.
• Assist with major turnaround (TAR) planning, scheduling, and budget development (every 3 years).
• Assume Maintenance Manager responsibilities in their absence.

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with five (5) years of relevant experience in an industrial environment.
• Technical skills:
  Strong mechanical background; ability to read technical drawings and documentation related to production equipment, vessels, and tankage.
• Safety mindset:
  Knowledge of safety, maintenance, and operations management systems.
• SAP skills are a plus:
  Review work order history, evaluate maintenance costs, review preventive maintenance plans, create purchase requisitions, and manage notifications and work orders.
• Software proficiency:
  Microsoft Office; familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Project; optional:
  Visio, SharePoint, and related tools.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities; ability to prioritize and deliver business value.

• Medium work:
  Exert up to 50 pounds occasionally; up to 20 pounds frequently; up to 10 pounds constantly.
• Environmental and physical conditions:
  Indoor/outdoor work; exposure to extreme cold/heat, noise, vibration, hazards, and atmospheric conditions; exposure to oils and cutting fluids.
