Position Overview

We are seeking a people-focused Cleaner / Housekeeper for our 62 and older, active adult community – Affinity  the Cleaner, you will be responsible for general housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the community.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing residents’ way of life while providing excellent customer service and a supportive home environment.
  • Build strong rapport with residents.
  • Clean offices, bathrooms, amenity spaces and common areas daily.
  • Clean office spaces on a regular schedule set by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Use the apartment cleaning checklist to clean vacant apartment homes after each move out.
  • Clean and organize the pool house, including straightening chairs, cleaning public bathrooms, showers, vacuuming and dusting amenity spaces.
  • Replace used towels in the pool area with freshly laundered ones daily.
  • Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Assist in removing debris from outside public spaces, amenity spaces, and common area, and empty public trash cans.
  • Clean elevator cab, lobby, and door tracks as scheduled by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and Fair Housing laws.
What We Are Seeking
  • Customer-service focused with strong communication skills in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Team player who embraces a “we over me” attitude.
  • Determined, ambitious, and self‑motivated.
  • Janitorial experience in hotel or residential management strongly preferred.
  • Computer skills, including email, Microsoft Office Suite, and web‑based training navigation.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Reliable transportation.

  • Noise: occasional exposure to high-volume sounds; hearing protection provided.
