Maintenance Work Leader

Duties

Lead, direct, schedule, and/or perform all maintenance and repair of project facilities and equipment.

Lead maintenance and repair activities for recreation areas.

Plan the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools.

Assign work to individuals and provide technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work processes.

Inspect completed work for quality and work order requirements.

Ensure safe work practices and enforce environmental safety regulations.

Inspect facilities to ensure they operate properly and are in good repair.

Assign and schedule work to be accomplished by hired labor and/or small construction contract.

Prepare requisitions, cost estimates, and justifications to procure equipment and supplies.

Coordinate contracted maintenance and repair work.

Perform nonsupervisory trades and labor work.
