Groundskeeper II - Full-time with benefits PCN# 000045 Supports the educational process with specific responsibilities for providing grounds maintenance services at assign site(s). Ensures attractive and safe grounds areas and athletic fields. Responsible for accomplishing a daily routine of general and preventative maintenance tasks that provides students, employees and general public with environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient areas. Works under direction of supervisor, small crew, or may work independently.
Requirements/ Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrate abilities of the Essential Functions, Knowledge and Abilities listed for position
- Two (2) years experience of Groundskeeper I or equivalent (grounds maintenance and demonstrated ability to operate light duty grounds equipment, gardening and nursery work)
- Requires valid California driver’s License with proper endorsements
