Access NJ/NYSID Janitorial

Position Type: FLSA - Non-Exempt

• Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures
• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture: sweep, mop or vacuum floors; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; empty and clean all ash trays and refill restroom dispensers.
• Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools: buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Use as directed.
• Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.

Activities are subject to change or be added to meet business needs with management approval.

• 2 to 3 years of Janitorial experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to lift at least 30 lbs

• Electrical Equipment
• Dirt & Dust
• Bending/Squatting is required throughout the day while mopping, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, etc.
• Works with Minimal Supervision
