- Perform advanced floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and refinishing hard floor surfaces
- Deep clean and maintain carpets using commercial carpet extractors
- Operate and maintain commercial floor care equipment, including automatic scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, and carpet extractors
- Inspect flooring, identify maintenance needs, and address issues to maintain safety and appearance
- Properly use cleaning chemicals, floor finishes, and sanitation products according to safety guidelines
- Perform routine and deep cleaning, including dusting and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, hallways, common areas, and resident/public spaces
- Clean, restock, and maintain cleaning supplies and materials across the facility
- Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy environment
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 18 years of age or older (required)
- Previous experience in floor care including stripping and finishing floors (required)
- Previous experience in a healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or commercial facility setting is preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
