Cortlandt Healthcare is seeking a reliable and motivated PRN Porter to join our Environmental Services team. This flexible, as-needed position is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

The Porter is responsible for assisting with the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of the facility while supporting various environmental services and operational needs.

• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, hallways, offices, and resident spaces.

• Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas.

• Transport supplies, equipment, and materials throughout the facility.

• Assist with room setups and moving furniture as needed.

• Respond promptly to housekeeping and maintenance requests.

• Support floor care and other environmental services duties.

• Follow all infection control and safety procedures.

• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents and guests.

• Previous porter, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.

• Healthcare or nursing home experience is a plus.

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies.

• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.

• Dependable with excellent teamwork and customer service skills.

• Ability to work a flexible, as-needed schedule.

• Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
