Are you experienced with paper machines and ready to put that knowledge to work where it actually matters? Asten Johnson is hiring a PMC Sales & Service Representative to support customers across Southern TN and Northern AL.

This role is ideal for someone who knows the paper industry, enjoys being on-site, and takes pride in delivering top-tier service while growing business relationships. You’ll be the go-to expert for your territory—no micromanaging, no cubicle world.

What You’ll Do

• Build strong customer relationships through goal-oriented sales and service calls
• Manage assigned accounts, including inventory, AR, and resource coordination
• Support machine crews with installation and removal of paper machine clothing
• Collect and analyze fabric life and performance data
• Maintain detailed machine drawings, technical documentation, and service plans
• Stay safety-certified at customer mill sites
• Submit call and expense reports (yes, the necessary evil)

What You’ll Need

• Experience in the paper industry and with paper machines
• Willingness to travel 50%+ to customer sites
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Strong time management, independence, and computer skills

The Physical Side

• Will require working in hot, humid mill environments
• Walking on slippery surfaces
• Climbing ladders and stairs while carrying equipment
• Standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods
