Role OverviewSeize the opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring excellence across multiple properties at Naples Hotel Group. Travel and work on-site at various hotels, providing essential maintenance expertise during pivotal moments such as openings, renovations, or high-demand periods. Your expertise will ensure operational readiness, brand compliance, and exceptional guest experiences.
Core Responsibilities- Travel extensively across our portfolio to offer engineering support during crucial periods.
- Partner with the Director of Corporate Facilities and hotel General Managers to prioritize needs at each property.
- Be available 24/7 for urgent maintenance issues while on assignment.
- Perform and manage repairs for systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more.
- Quickly resolve guest-impacting issues to maintain service quality.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to adhere to brand and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
- Coordinate inspections and work with safety officials as necessary.
- Support storm preparedness and recovery efforts.
- Maintain and inventory tools and equipment, communicating needs to management.
- Oversee and monitor contracted services to ensure quality and completion.
- Maintain the aesthetic and functional quality of hotel grounds and facilities.
- Utilize the Quore platform for efficient work order management.
- Provide comprehensive updates on work progress and operational risks.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar engineering role within the hospitality sector.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Proven ability to independently perform maintenance tasks.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and smartphones; familiarity with Quore is preferred.
- Understanding of OSHA regulations and preventative maintenance practices.
- Physical ability to handle maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Salaried, travel-based role with frequent travel up to 90%+ of the time.
- Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, to meet assignment demands.
