Position: AIRCRAFT MECHANIC LEADEER with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will inspect, analyze, assess and determine the condition of aircraft flight control, hydraulic, pneudraulic, environmental and mechanical system components.
* You will identify and document all non-conforming discrepancies and making informed technical decisions, from current engineering specifications and technical instructions
* You will perform overhaul, repair, align, test, and diagnose aircraft systems and components while leading a crew within a Cell Based Work Environment (CBWE) in an aircraft production line.
* You will provide work direction to employees and monitor their progress.
* You will distribute portions of the work in such a manner to keep everyone in the crew productive.
* You will investigate technical problems affecting production and apply corrective action coordinating and working with support groups as required.
* You will comply with safety regulations, practices, and procedures. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
* Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
* This position involves frequent reaching overhead, standing, sitting, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, walking, and working in cramped and awkward positions.
* You will be required to lift and/or carry objects up to 45 pounds without assistance, and over 40 pounds with assistance from other workers.
* You will be required to utilize personal protective equipment that commensurate with assigned work tasks.
* You may be exposed to dirt, noise, moisture, fumes and aircraft exhaust.
* Work may be performed outside inclement weather and handle hazardous waste materials.
* This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain required level(s) of certification and/or training. Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

The Screen-out Element for this position is Ability to Lead or Supervise and includes performing common tasks under general supervision including:
1) Inspect, analyze, assess and determine the condition of some aircraft system components;
2) Demonstrating proper trade techniques and practices, explaining safety precautions, and giving instructions on the use of power tools, materials, measuring devices, precision instruments, and safety devices;
3) Reading and interpreting blueprints, job orders, specifications, and maintenance instructions;
4) Troubleshooting systems, disassembling components/systems, and determining required repairs; and
