Building and Grounds Maintenance

Kan Pak LLC, a leader in shelf-stable beverages and desserts, is seeking a Building and Grounds Maintenance team member to support our fast-paced manufacturing facility. In this role, you will perform daily building, grounds, and basic equipment maintenance to keep our production environment safe, clean, and reliable. Responsibilities include routine inspections, minor plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs, exterior and grounds care, and support of preventive maintenance activities.

You will work closely with production, quality, and safety teams, following GMP, food safety, and OSHA standards while helping minimize downtime for major national brand customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building and grounds maintenance, including minor repairs, cleaning, and exterior upkeep.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety issues.
• Complete basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks within skill and safety limits.
• Support preventive maintenance on facility systems and production support equipment.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas in compliance with GMP, food safety, and OSHA requirements.
• Respond to maintenance work orders and urgent repair requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and safety teams to minimize downtime and hazards.
• Operate hand and power tools, small equipment, and material handling equipment safely.
• Assist with snow removal, landscaping, and seasonal facility tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and report issues to supervision promptly.
