Job Description /Duties:

• Performs the routine cleaning of floor areas and non-floor areas, including sweeping, dusting, window/glass washing, sink scrubbing, vacuuming, toilet cleaning, mopping, spill clean-up, spot cleaning, etc.
• Practices safe and secure trash disposal methods.
• Operates manual and mechanical equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• All other duties as assigned/needed.

Skills/Requirements/Physical Demands:

• Previous housekeeping and/or janitorial work experience highly preferred.
• Must have flexibility/availability to work retail hours/scheduling: includes evenings, weekends, holidays and/or special events.
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull and lift approximately up to 25 lbs. repetitively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent listening skills.
• Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Basic numerical reasoning skills.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and/or a combination of education and experience.
