Purpose:
*
* St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an experienced full time
** Floor Care Technician
** to join our Environmental Services Team!
*
* What You Will Do:
*
* + Responsible for all floor care work including routine mopping (dry and damp) buffing, waxing and burnishing all hard surfaces.
+ Provides floor maintenance, including but not limited to vacuuming, shampooing and extracting carpets, stairwells and upholstery.
+ Performs preventive maintenance checks on all equipment prior to use and at the end of shift.
+ Provides other cleaning services such as dusting, routine restroom, offices, halls and classrooms or other duties as assigned.
+ Follows all safety requirements and procedures at all times.
+ Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition.
+ Respects Hospital and Company property.
+ Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.

* Minimum Qualifications:
*
* + HS diploma or equivalency (preferred)
+ 1 year experience (required)
+ 2-4 years experience (preferred)
