Job SummaryIndustrial maintenance in a manufacturing facility. The role involves both office work and hands‑on maintenance tasks.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of maintenance workers, assigning tasks and ensuring all maintenance operations are completed efficiently and safely.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans, schedule regular inspections, and coordinate repairs to keep facilities and equipment in proper condition.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and ensure operations stay within financial.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring necessary materials are available for maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues quickly and effectively, coordinating with external contractors when necessary.
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities, including completed tasks, ongoing projects, and any arising issues.
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing maintenance strategies, including hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
- Strong leadership abilities to manage and motivate a maintenance team.
- Excellent organizational skills for planning and scheduling maintenance work.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team members, other departments, and external contractors.
- Problem‑solving skills to identify issues quickly and find practical solutions.
- 3 years of manufacturing maintenance supervisor experience preferred.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is a plus.
- Experience with electronic maintenance programs.
Bachelor's Degree required.
