Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining district buildings to ensure a safe, functional, and efficient environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on district facilities, equipment, and systems
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure buildings and grounds remain in safe working condition
  • Assist with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and general repair work as needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized manner
  • Support custodial and groundskeeping operations when necessary
  • Follow all district safety procedures and applicable regulations
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior maintenance, facilities, or trade experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and repair techniques
  • Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must obtain necessary clearances, including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training.
