DPI Staffing is seeking a d ependable, d etail-oriented Custodial Worker to join our team supporting our customer in Kutztown , P A . This role is ideal for a highly dependable, detail-oriented individual with experience in custodial work or manual labor . Custodial Worker I

Location: Kutztown, PA

Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday 6am - 2 pm

Pay Rate: $16. 00

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, classrooms, stairways, offices, and exterior entryways.
• Perform general cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors and furniture.
• Operate custodial equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers.
• Maintain custodial closets, supplies, tools, and report needed repairs or replacements.
• Replace light bulbs, clean windows and blinds, and ensure all building areas are safe and presentable.
• Assist with snow shoveling, sidewalk sweeping, and maintaining surrounding grounds.
• Move furniture and assist with setup as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least one year of custodial or manual labor experience.
• Ability to learn and properly use cleaning tools, machines, and chemicals.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and prolonged standing.
• Team-oriented with strong attention to safety and care in handling materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Stable work history with a minimum of one year at a single employer.
• Experience in institutional cleaning environments (schools, hospitals, etc.).
• Experience with floor care methods such as carpet cleaning, stripping, waxing, and scrubbing.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and reporting.
