Global Headquarters Facility Support and Cleaning Specialist

Position Summary

Minitab is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Global Facility Support and Cleaning Specialist to join our Facilities team at our State College headquarters. In this role, you will work alongside a team of facility and cleaning professionals to help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently, and contributes to a positive experience for employees and visitors alike.

Location: Minitab Headquarters
- State College, PA

• Clean and maintain the main kitchen, including:
  • Countertops and sinks
  • Floors
  • Dishwashers
  • General organization and cleanliness
• Maintain the appearance of the main lobby by:
  • Cleaning glass surfaces
  • Spot-cleaning floors
  • Watering plants as needed
  • Keeping the area neat and welcoming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchenettes, locker rooms, and natatorium areas, including:
  • Countertops, sinks, toilets, and mirrors
  • Trash collection and disposal
  • Replenishing paper products and supplies

• Empty trash receptacles throughout offices, kitchens, and lavatories
• Replace liners and clean containers as needed
• Transport waste to designated dumpster areas

• Vacuum carpeted areas and spot clean or shampoo carpets as necessary
• Sweep and mop stairwells and atrium spaces
• Clean floors in the fitness room and shipping/receiving areas
• Empty recycling containers and transport recyclables to collection areas
• Remove cobwebs and dust from high surfaces

• Clean interior office windows and window ledges

• Replace light bulbs in offices, hallways, and common areas
• Maintain water softener systems and replace filters as needed
• Assist with maintenance of the waterfall collection pond
• Support cleaning and organization efforts at other Minitab properties when needed
• Assist with moving surplus equipment and materials for disposal or collection

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred
• Reliable work history and strong attendance record
• Ability to work scheduled hours, typically:
  • 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, or
  • 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in an office environment
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
• Ability to climb an 8-foot ladder and work in elevated areas
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, and move items up to 40 pounds
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

: A 401k Retirement Plan with T. Rowe Price is provided with eligible employee contribution immediately. Minitab will match dollar for dollar up to the first 6% of employee's contribution. Employees are fully vested in the Minitab, LLC 401(k) Retirement Plan upon date of hire.

PAID TIME OFF

Paid holidays, as well as 4 weeks of annual paid time off are provided. The annual paid time off increases one week every five years.
