Head Custodian - Greenwood Elementary

Head Custodian Position

Kennett Consolidated School District is seeking a Head Custodian for Greenwood Elementary School.

Experience and abilities in building and grounds operation and maintenance required to include carpentry, mechanical maintenance, and electrical maintenance. Supervisory experience preferred. Responsible for supervising custodians, utility maintenance, summer helpers, and substitute custodians. Successful candidate must have the ability to perform general building cleaning, snow shoveling, lifting and carrying items up to 40 pounds, respond to emergency call-ins, and other duties as assigned.

Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions and communicate effectively.

Employees of Kennett Consolidated School District must have the ability to establish and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships with other employees, faculty, students, and the general public.

Candidates must have a valid PA Driver's License, must be in good physical condition, and be able to pass a physical examination required by the district.

Interested applicants must have current clearances, Acts 34, 114, 151, and 168.
