Hermès has chosen a regional focus in France for all of its leather goods. Small sites—with fewer than 300 people—are created around a core of experienced artisans who train newcomers to help preserve and promote traditional skills and ensure the sustainability of the model.

This strong regional focus allows for local and artisanal manufacturing, respecting both people and the environment. All sites are built with sustainability and aesthetics in mind, to "make the beautiful in the beautiful."

The South-West hub is organized around four sites located in Montbron (16), Nontron (24), Saint Junien (87) and L'Isle d'Espagnac (16) and a training school in Marthon (16).

The Leather Pinching Mechanic performs all stages of machine stitching of items from the house with care. The excellence of his/her know-how allows him/her to contribute to the proper assembly of finished products. He/she is required to work on different machines and different production models.

The recruitment stages will take place at the Hermès School of Skills, located in Marthon (16). You will start with a 6-month professionalization contract, then a 6-month fixed-term contract before joining us on a permanent basis subject to meeting the prerequisites =>
Start of training in September 2026.

Afterwards, you will carry out the role of Leather Pinching Mechanic.
