Maintenance Custodian Associate

Position Summary

Are you ready to help shape a member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. Maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.

• Ensure a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary.
• Respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and dispose of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintain appropriate levels of approved chemicals and supplies, rotate and store them properly, and place orders when supplies are low.
• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Clean all areas of the facility—floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles—following company procedures and approved chemicals and equipment.

Hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00 per hour.
